1974 Biker Storks chopper from Disneyland in California. This bike is a totally custom rolling mini chopper made from real panhead, motorcycle, and bicycle parts. The frame and fork and custom and metal. The motor case, tank and seat and hand carved wood. We bought this for my daughter until we realized this is a major piece or Disney, American, motorcycle history. The Biker Storks are two anthropomorphic storks. In the “Modern Times” sequence of the attraction, the two would sing the song “Twistin’ USA”. Development History-The Biker Stork characters were created for the America Sings attraction at Disneyland in the Tomorrowland section, where they were placed in the “Modern Times” sequence where they sing the song “Twistin’ USA”, which opened on June 29, 1974. However, America Sings closed on April 10, 1988 in order to retheme the attraction to Innoventions, with most of the animatronics moved to Splash Mountain at the Critter Country section at Disneyland. However, the Biker Stork animatronics were not moved to Splash Mountain for unknown reasons. Role in the attraction-The Bikers Stork was featured during the former attraction’s final act, “Modern Times”, where they drove around on their motorcycle while singing the song, “Twistin’ USA”. They and the other singers take part in the finale “Joy to the World” just before the show ends. The photos in the post are from the ride and from the concept artwork. Original illustrated cardboard boxmeasures around 11 x 17 x 3 inches. The box is labeled "Copyright Walt Disney Enterprises - Lionel Corporation New York - No. 1536." Train set has a 7 inch long wind-up red painted metal engine, a 4 inch long coal car with attached composition Mickey Mouse figure, and three 6 inch long tin litho train cars. The engine is labeled "Lionel Lines."
eBay Measuring 15 1/4" tall this is a great piece from the Disney store. He is dated 1995 and has a plate that screwed him onto where ever he was displayed in the store when he was used. This is a great one of a kind piece to add to any 101 Dalmatian true collector/fan. He is lightweight most likely composite or plastic. He does have a crack on the top of his head as shown in photo 7. Under that same ear is some dirt as shown in photo 4. Lastly the metal plate has some paint chipping. The Dalmatian paint looks good. "Sheriff of Bullet Valley" Donald Duck Limited Edition Bronze Sculpture was based on Carl Barks' classic 1948 Donald Duck Four Color comic book #199 tale "Sheriff of Bullet Valley." The last image in this listing shows that original comic book. The book is a stock image and is not included with the statue.This original, vintage, limited edition bronze statue was sculpted by artist Paul Vought with input from Carl Barks. It was cast at Parks Bronze Foundry in Wallowa Country, Oregon. One of these sculptures was on display at the Gene Autry Western Museum in Los Angeles. Only 200 were cast. This is #178 of 200 and the original certificate (pictured) bearing the signatures of Paul Vought and Carl Barks is included. The base was hand-signed by Carl Barks (1901-2000) and Paul Vought. This very sought after Barks bronze is 13" high, on a black marble base. The statue was displayed to a very limited extent and is in excellent condition. The metallic paint pen signatures are both bold and unaffected by scratches or other marring. Shipping will be through Fed Ex, ground economy, very reasonable compared to their overnight rates. If you would prefer the overnight delivery, that could easily be done for you.I do not have the original packaging. The statue will ship in a very sturdy Uline wooden 18" X 18" X 18" shipping crate with superb internal packaging and reinforcement isolating the statue inside a cooler-like styrofoam package central to the box (a box within the crate) an effective system I've used many times before for shipping bronze and porcelain statutes, all without any damage whatsoever. (Disneyland, 1993) An incredibly rare original head used on an audio animatronic doll from It's a Small World. This prop measures 8 1/2 inches tall without the base itâ??s mounted on. The original metal mechanics are still intact on the inside. The zipper is stuck as seen in the photo. This is a common problem with these types of latex skins. The eyes will move if you push on them. Very cool for any Disney collection.
