This limited edition, commemorative "Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse at Disneyland" Big Figure was released exclusively in commemoration of the 50th year anniversary of Walt Disney's Disneyland! Disney Big Figures debuted with a simple release of the "Disney Standard Characters" Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. However, Disney retail branches expanded the collection to include exclusive and limited-edition figure releases based on popular feature films, issued through The Disney Store, The Disney Catalog, and Disney Parks. "Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse at Disneyland" was designed by the team of Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily and sculpted by the incredible and prolific artist Bo Tsai as part of a series that depicts popular Disney characters Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Dumbo capturing the spirit of Walt Disney's Disneyland. Mickey Mouse sports a "Keppy Kap" and holds a miniature felt pennant in celebration of the original full-size vintage souvenirs. This Big Figure four-piece set is comprised of a base, a figure, a detachable tail, and a flag accessory. This nostalgic piece was offered for sale exclusively during the 50th anniversary of Disneyland and has long since been sold-out and sought after by collectors.
