It was purchasednew from FORTUNOFF'S in the 1980's and the retail cost at that time was ~ $ 2,000 It is in excellent working order. The little motors that move the doors around to displaythe characters and the numbers are all working perfectly. Doors open throughout the song and the one for that hour remains open.
