This is an awesome and Very RARE Vintage DISNEY Store Mickey Mouse Large Big Fig Store Display Figure, comprised of painted fiberglass resin, with its original use being a store display at the widely successful Disney Store during the late 1980's - 1990's. Mickey Mouse is crouching or bowing at the waist, with his arms outstretched and his body leaning forward, and he is mounted on a painted wooden base. This figure was likely placed high up on the top of a shelf in The Disney Store, waving down at customers, or perhaps he may have been a window display. This particular figure is exceptionally scarce, and I cannot find any comparable pieces to this one which have ever been offered for sale online. Mickey's crouching height is approximately 15 1/2 inches tall (including base.) The base is 19 inches wide x 1 1/4 inches tall, and this figure measures from hand to hand 27 inches in width. Its height (as it is posed in Photo 1) is approximately 33 1/2 inches. Good condition for decades of age and storage, with moderate scratching, scuffing, paint loss, and edge wear throughout (please see photos.) Acquired from an old collection in Long Beach, California. Due to the large size of this piece, S&H costs will be unavoidably high. However, Free Local Pickup from Los Angeles County, California is also an option. Priced to Sell. Also included is a motion activated voice recorder that plays the 60 second spiel... "Ye come seekin' adventure, and salty ol' pirates eh?"
