This vintage original 8"x10" photograph is from the collection of Anthony Chierichetti who was in charge of sound engineering as part of the the US Army Signal Corps photography unit during WW2. Col. Melvin E. Gillette headed the Signal Corps Photographic Laboratory in Washington, D.C. and was officially positioned as the Army pictorial representative on Gen. Dwight D.
