Disneyland - Tomorrowland "Carousel of Progress" Attraction Poster (Walt Disney, 1967). "From the Good Old Days... To the Possible Present!" The Carousel of Progress originally opened as an attraction at the 1964 New York World's Fair, under sponsorship by General Electric. The ride was then transferred to Disneyland, debuting there in 1967, two years after the park's opening. It would later be moved again to the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland in 1975, where it remains in seasonal operation today. The Carousel of Progress was said to be one of Walt Disney's favorite World's Fair attractions. This attraction poster for the Carousel of Progress was designed for display near the park entrance. Ken Chapman is the artist behind this poster which can be seen in the Poster Art of the Disney Parks book by Danny Handke and Vanessa Hunt on page 106 as well as on the back cover. This poster has an overall size of 36" x 54". Surface wear & creasing. Overall, this poster is in Fine-VF condition (prior to linen backing).
