This is an awesome and Very RARE Vintage DISNEY Store Mickey Mouse Large Big Fig Store Display Figure, comprised of painted fiberglass resin, with its original use being a store display at the widely successful Disney Store during the late 1980's - 1990's. Mickey Mouse is crouching or bowing at the waist, with his arms outstretched and his body leaning forward, and he is mounted on a painted wooden base. This figure was likely placed high up on the top of a shelf in The Disney Store, waving down at customers, or perhaps he may have been a window display. This particular figure is exceptionally scarce, and I cannot find any comparable pieces to this one which have ever been offered for sale online. Mickey's crouching height is approximately 15 1/2 inches tall (including base.) The base is 19 inches wide x 1 1/4 inches tall, and this figure measures from hand to hand 27 inches in width. Its height (as it is posed in Photo 1) is approximately 33 1/2 inches. Good condition for decades of age and storage, with moderate scratching, scuffing, paint loss, and edge wear throughout (please see photos.) Acquired from an old collection in Long Beach, California. Due to the large size of this piece, S&H costs will be unavoidably high. However, Free Local Pickup from Los Angeles County, California is also an option. Priced to Sell. Very hard to find Disney Collectible from the 1990s, originally installed at The Disney Store #598, Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CADisney Store displays such as this extremely rare gem are very difficult to find because figures such as this large Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland were ordered to be destroyed when the stores closed. Select pieces were auctioned off with Certificates of Authenticity issued. VERY RARE Officially Licensed Disney New York Yankees Mickey Mouse 38” Statue - Yankees Team Store Display. Condition is overall excellent. The figure is made of a resin type material designed and created by Forever Collectibles. My research has indicated that these figures were created for the 2010 MLB All Star game. A 7’ version was on display at the 2010 All Star game in Anaheim, California. This 38” version was created for the team owners to display in their team store. Being offered is this very rare figure from the Disney Store. It is a rare store display piece of Minnie Mouse. Square hole on bottom of her butt allowed for the figure to move back and forth while on display in Disney Store Window . Figure cannot stand on its own, sits well on small support block or box. Minnie is about 27”tall 14 wide and 19 deep I do not see any cracks or damage. She may have a few scrapes out of the paint including on the edge of the ear. Probably could use a detailed dusting as I sell everything as found, including the dust that way you can see how it’s been taken care of and stored over the years. overall a very cool piece and A very hard collectible to come by.
